Sunday, 8:10 p.m. - Jessica Dreaden, 20, of Richmond was attempting to turn onto Road 300S from Ind. 3 in a white 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo when she was struck by a white 1990 GMC. Stephanie Steele, 20, of New Castle said Dreaden pulled out in front of her while she was traveling west on Road 300S through the intersection with Ind. 3. Dreaden told police she saw the GMC, but thought she had enough room to make the turn. Total damage was estimated between $5,001 and $10,000.
Thursday, 5:41 p.m. - Billy Evans, 62, of New Castle was traveling east on Road 200S in a blue 2002 Chrysler Town and Country van when he crossed the center line and struck a black 2000 Dodge Durango. Dustin Davies, 24, of New Castle told police he tried to avoid contact with the oncoming vehicle crossing the center line, but was unable. Evans was transported to Henry County Hospital for back pain. Total damage was estimated between $5,001 and $10,000.
Saturday, 5:31 a.m. - An employee at The Village Pantry, 2400 Q Ave., reported two juvenile males came into the store and attempted to steal alcohol. They fled on foot without the alcohol when confronted by the employee. Officers were unable to locate the suspects.
Saturday, 5:55 a.m. - David Hobbs, 39, of New Castle told police he was bitten by an unknown dog at 1000 N. 16th St.
Saturday, 12:30 p.m. - A 5-year-old juvenile threatened a postal worker with a knife at 5301 E. 400N. Police spoke with the mother about the incident.
Saturday, 8:06 p.m. - Christopher Blevins, 23, of Connersville was arrested for domestic battery, class D felony, at 8555 S. 500E. He allegedly pulled a knife on his girlfriend and threatened to cut her. Blevins then allegedly grabbed her by the wrist while armed with a deadly weapon. Police officers on scene observed red marks on the girlfriend's wrist.
Sunday, 4:14 p.m. - Brittany Adkins, 22, of New Castle was arrested for disorderly conduct at 1410 S. 21st St.
Sunday, 7:13 p.m. - Jeremiah Davis, 37, of New Castle was arrested for domestic battery, class D felony, near the intersection of I Avenue and 18th Street after an altercation with his wife. An off duty officer said he saw Davis strike his wife in the face.
Sunday, 9:48 p.m. - Patrick West, 35, of New Castle was arrested in the 100 block of 25th Street for possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance (pills) after a traffic stop.
