SHS to Establish Alumni Hall of Fame

Shenandoah School Corporation is considering the creation of an Alumni Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame would look to honor distinguished alumni for their outstanding contributions made in, but not limited to, the areas of business, community service, education, journalism, law, medicine, performing arts, public service, science, and visual arts.

The Hall also would recognize alumni and faculty who have made other significant contributions to society or performed meritorious service for our country.

Finally, there would be an athletic branch to the Hall that would seek to honor the contributions of past athletes, coaches, administrators, or volunteers for their significant contributions to SSC.

Anyone wishing to serve on the committee to create this Hall is welcome to attend an informational meeting 6 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Shenandoah High School.
