Tri Jr.-Sr. High School 50th anniversary planning committee thanks sponsors and donors

Tri Jr.-Sr. High School is celebrating 50 Years of Titan Pride with additional upcoming events and an important milestone achievement.

As part of the celebration commemorating Tri High’s first 50 years, the Tri High 50th Anniversary Planning Committee has a series of events planned for summer 2019 leading up to the Titan Homecoming game on Saturday, Sept. 14. The committee thanked dedicated sponsors, donors and volunteers for helping make the two spring events successful. These successful events included the Spring Bazaar and the popular Reunion Tour with the Car and Bike Show, all held in April.

The Planning Committee thanks these sponsors and donors:

• Action Trophy and Engraving – People’s Choice trophy

• Carmichael Plumbing

• Citizen State Bank

• Draper Shade

• Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home

• New Castle YMCA – One-year membership

• Raintree Square

• Rd 2 Muscle Motors – Contribution toward trophies

• State Representative Tom Saunders

Additionally, numerous business and individuals donated door prizes for these events and the Planning Committee is grateful for their generosity.

Milestone achievement

As part of this commemoration, the Tri Jr.-Sr. High School Alumni Association, Inc. is now formally registered in the State of Indiana. Once the 501(c)3 designation is received from the IRS later this summer, the board of directors and leadership details will be announced. Following the 50th year celebration, there will be additional ways to get involved with this more formally structured organization via memberships, sponsorships, scholarship funding, and other activities. Details are in development.
