'Hungrytown' folk duo performing June 20

Ken Anderson and Rebecca Hall comprise the folk duo “Hungrytown” and will be performing at New Castle-Henry County Public Library on June 20.

After a decade of world-wide touring and the release of three albums, folk duo Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson of Hungrytown are stopping in Henry County for a free concert at the New Castle-Henry County Public Library. The performance begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 20, in the library’s auditorium.

Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. and all ages are welcome to attend. The event is part of the Noteworthy Performances series sponsored by Friends of the New Castle-Henry County Public Library.

Known for their “honesty, timelessness, and gorgeous vocal harmonies,” Hall and Anderson also lead the “Feed this Hungrytown” movement. At the June 20 event, representatives from the Christian Love Help Center will collect food pantry donations at the door.
