Quinten Mosier named to national middle school football team

Mooreland’s Quinten Mosierwill play as an offensive lineman in the Ohio U.S. National Team Middle School Bowl Game on Saturday, June 29.

Quinten Mosier, 13, a soon-to-be 8th grader at New Castle Middle School, the son of Jarod and Kristi Mosier of Mooreland, was invited to the U.S. National Team training camp April 6-7 in Indianapolis at the Indianapolis Colts Training Facility.

During this time, Quinten had the opportunity to train with top players, high school and college coaches to develop better skills and leadership from top coaches in America.  Following the U.S. National Team training camp held in May, Quinten was selected for the second year in a row to join the Ohio U.S. National Team Middle School Bowl Game this summer as an Offensive Lineman!

Quinten’s selection means that he was picked by the U.S. National Team program to represent our country on the field. This is a great accomplishment. Quinten was selected for the Middle School Bowl Games based on talent, leadership, and character. Rosters for the event are comprised of the best athletes from across the Middle School Showcase & Regional events that were held nationwide this spring.

Quinten Mosier will play in the Ohio U.S. National Team Middle School Bowl Game on Saturday, June 29 (game time to be provided at a later date). The game will be hosted at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, 2121 George Halas Dr. NW in Canton, Ohio. Tickets are $25 at the door. The games will also Livestream on Facebook.
