Cora Russell

Cora Russell is the daughter of Toby and Jayna Russell and a member of the Henry County Tractor Club and Swine Club. She was Home Schooled and plans on continuing her education to become a veterinarian. Her favorite projects include photography, swine, goats, and tractor driving.

“4-H means to me friendships and bonds that will last me a lifetime,” Russell said. “It’s spending months’ worth of work and dedication to put forth the best projects possible and get ready for a week full of laughs, milkshakes, ribbons, and fun. Looking back I wouldn’t be where I am today without some amazing people along the way.”

Through 4-H, Russell has gained life skills she will carry all her life.

“I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Biosecurity Ambassador, Swine Ambassador, be the first female President for the Henry County Tractor driving club, holding club offices, being named Senior Swine Herdsman for the past 3 years, and being crowned the 2018 Henry County Queen,” she said. “Some of my favorite 4-H memories are the Swine Show, water fights and mudslides, Farmer Olympics, competing in the pedal pulls, and watching my mini and first year member group grow up. 4-H is more than just a week of the summer or a program, it’s my passion and my way of life.”
