Justin Thomas

Justin Thomas is the son of Jeff and Kelly Thomas and a member of the Clever Clovers 4-H Club. He attended Knightstown High School and plans to go into the workforce for about a year and attend online college to obtain a criminal justice degree and become a detective. His favorite 4-H project was cattle, with a special place in his heart for Checkers, the cow.

So, what has 4-H meant to Thomas?

“It has meant a lot to me over my 10 year course,” he said. “It’s taught me a lot of different responsibilities from making sure you’re on time, to making sure that everything is taken care of, and a lot about animals, like the proper care they need and how to take care of them.”

Thomas said 4-H has helped him learn about himself, who he is and who he aspires to be.

“4-H has taught me about friendship and how one should treat another. It has taught me about companionship and the special kind of bond you can form with an animal,” Thomas said. “All in all, 4-H meant a lot to me because it was one of the best teachers I could have in life.”
