Saturday morning was cool, with just enough cloud cover to fight back the August sun’s heat.

Perfect weather for the Mooreland Free Fair 5K/10K races.

And with 80 registered runners, it was the perfect number for the 80th annual summer fair.

The top three runners in the Men’s 5K were: Andrew Whitinger, 18, at 17:04; Chris Graham, 20, at 17:13; and Ayden Humbles, 17, at 19:22.

The top three runners in the Women’s 5K were: Lydia Harvey, 14, at 19:37; Ella Garvin, 14, at 21:15; and Sydney Fellers, 13, at 22:51.

Whitinger, Graham, and Humbles were the top three 5K finishers overall.

The top three runners in the Men’s 10K were Jaycee Wilburn, 18, at 37:48; Drew Cooper, 58, at 45:48; and Nathan Coe, 38, at 38:28.

The top three runners in the Women’s 10K were Molly Jo Grollimund, 29, at 44:24; Lisa Murray, 30, at 49:15; and Addison Coe, 13, at 55:54.

Wilburn, Grollimund and Cooper were the top three 10K finishers overall.
