MOORELAND — Judith Montgomery and Family (JM&F), rising stars on the Christian music scene, performed at the Mooreland Free Fair this year.
This family group, known for their tight family harmony, strong vocals and anointed singing, took the stage Friday night before the fireworks display.
The concert was free, with a freewill offering accepted.
Led by Judith Montgomery, who has been writing songs since she was a child, the group also consists of 26-year-old Megan Montgomery, 19-year-old Graham Montgomery and 11-year-old Justin Montgomery.
The children’s father, Marold, serves as the group’s sound man and family driver.
The family’s first national project has been released through the Chapel Valley label. Their second national radio single, “Rubble Cry” written by Megan Montgomery, has been officially released, as well.
The group has performed in 13 states. Last year, JM&F traveled over 14,000 miles ministering for God and booked over 100 dates. JM&F mostly sing 45-minute concerts in churches, gymnasiums or outdoors. Additionally, JM&F have sung for revivals, weddings, banquets, fairs, funerals and special occasions.
Judith has also had the privilege of singing a solo at the Capitol Building in Indianapolis by leading the song “God Bless America” for the Indiana House of Representatives.
