POLICE

Arrest information, including the name, age, address and criminal charges, are obtained from police media reports. All suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in court.

Sept. 5

Craig Corbett Jr., 22, was arrested and charged with domestic battery committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old.

Sept. 6

Dustin Elliot, 25, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe.

Tristan Guffy, 20, was arrested on a warrant for violation of House of Hope and preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a syringe.

Jay Knotts, 67, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

Tyler Hammond, 32, was arrested on a preliminary charge of maintaining a common nuisance.

Sept. 7

Danny Forest, 33, was arrested for multiple warrants and preliminary charges of possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Chelsey Jarvis, 31, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession a controlled substance with intent to sell, distribution of a Schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance, possession of a narcotic, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Brandon Mansfield, 19, was arrested on preliminary charges of conversion, public intoxication and minor consumption.

Stephanie Matthews, 33, was arrested on a preliminary charge of domestic battery.

Joel Toney, 31, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of a syringe, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance.

Sept. 8

Lori Roberts, 45, was arrested on preliminary charges of aggravated battery, residential entry, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

Sept. 9

Victor Gavrylishyn, 57, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public intoxication.

New Castle police responded to the 200 block of Glenwood for a report that sometime between 08/30/19 and 9/9/19 someone removed two television remotes from a trailer. The remotes were described as being black and rubberbanded together. One remote was for a Visio television and the other was a Samsung. The caller told police his ex-wife may have possibly had something to do with the remotes being missing. The caller told police he is insured and needed a report on file with his insurance agency. There was no other property reported missing.
