First Christian Church’s six-week study continues through March 25: based on Mike Slaughter’s book, “Made for a Miracle, From Your Ordinary to God’s Extraordinary.” By examining biblical examples of how to use God-given gifts for God’s glory, author-pastor Mike Slaughter helps people discover how they were made for a miracle. For His Glory Women’s Ministry of First Baptist Church in New Castle is having a women’s retreat, open to the public, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at the church at 709 S.
