Man faces charges after allegedly selling drugs to cops

Courier-Times Staff Report

MIDDLETOWN — An Anderson man is now facing drug-related charges after he allegedly sold heroin to undercover detectives with the Henry County Area Drug Task Force.

Ty’Queil Stennis, 21, was arrested Monday in Middletown and preliminarily charged with dealing in a narcotic drug and maintaining a common nuisance.

Stennis allegedly met the undercover agents to sell them heroin and was taken into custody after the completion of the narcotics deal, a press release said.

Detectives seized approximately 1.3 grams of heroin and $1,200 cash.

Stennis bonded out of Henry County Jail the same day he was arrested. No court dates had been scheduled as of Tuesday morning.
