Annual Canoe the Big Blue River: rescheduled 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16. Bring canoes, kayaks or rent one for free trip down the Big Blue River. Drop off at 350 W bridge southwest of New Castle, drive to Knightstown and park at South Washington St. and South 4th Street, ready for take out. Jenna’s Third Annual 5K and Run-Walk and Sign Dedication: 9 a.m. Saturday, June 16. Jenna Dale lost her life with her grandfather Mike Dale in a February 2015 fire. A Mourning Walk: at the entrance to the Wilbur Wright Trail at the Henry County YMCA, 9 a.m. Tuesdays, entrance to the Wilbur Wright Trail. Casual walk for anyone of any age who has experienced a loss. Walk about an hour and then anyone who wishes can gather for a social time at Stack’s.
