Ruby J. Linginfelter

Ruby J. Linginfelter, age 93, of Dublin, IN passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 in Carmel, IN. She was born on April 26, 1925 in Liberty Township, Henry County, IN to Ira Monroe and Pearl Esther (Lewman) Chew.

She was a 1943 graduate of New Lisbon High School and was a secretary for Production Credit in the 1950’s. Ruby was a loving, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a caregiver for 17 years of her husband Robert. She was a member of Cambridge City Christian Church and enjoyed gardening, travel, and getting to know everyone she would meet. Ruby was truly a friend to everyone.

Ruby is survived by her children, Daniel (Dee) Linginfelter of Indianapolis, Bruce (Mary Lee) Linginfelter of Richmond, Karla (Tom) Cubbison of Plano, TX, Clay Lingingfelter of Indianapolis and James Linginfelter of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Anne (Warren), Sara, Joseph, Emily and Claire Linginfelter and Laura Cubbison; brothers, Raymond and Paul Chew; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Robert L. Linginfelter on March 1, 2010, they were married on December 15, 1950; siblings Ruth Reynolds, Gladys Lee and John Chew.

Friends may call from 12 noon until the start of the funeral services at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City with Danny Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery in Dublin.
