U.S. Army Sgt. Adam Hessman and his family enjoyed Thursday’s sunshine on the merry-go-roundat Spiceland Community Park. Hessman, a 2012 Tri High School graduate, brought his family to Spiceland Wednesday night to visit his mom, Patricia Marqua. He is stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where soldiers were given the option of fleeing from impending Hurricane Florence. He’s shown with, from left, sons Aren, Audric, Ares and wife, Adelin. Adam returned a week ago from a six-month deployment in Kuwait. The family will be here at least through Sunday and if the flooding is bad, maybe even through next week.
