HOPE meeting features C.J. Miller

HOPE Initiative’s monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, will feature C.J. Miller, who will speak about the Henry County Alternatives To Incarceration Committee’s progress. Miller is a lead teacher for the Excel Center in Muncie. Local elected officials might attend, but no decisions on their part will be made. The HOPE meetings take place in the HOPE Building, 1426 Broad St., New Castle.

Dustin Vincent makes dean’s list

New Castle resident Dustin Vincent was named to the Greenville University Fall 2018 semester dean’s list. Greenville University is a four-year accredited Christian liberal arts school with more than 1,400 undergraduate and graduate students.

Goshen College recognized Knightstown graduate Cailin Smith on its list of 211 undergraduate students on the Fall 2018 Dean’s List. Smith is a junior majoring in Molecular biology/Biochemistry.
