New Castle First Church of the Nazarene will have its spring revival Sunday-Wednesday, March 17-20. This year’s evangelists are Dr. Susie Shellenberger and the Brian Arner Family.

Dr. Shellenberger, a former youth pastor and editor for a youth magazine with Focus on the Family, is a full-time evangelist in the Church of the Nazarene, traveling 42 weeks a year. An ordained elder, Susie speaks passionately about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Brian Arner is not new to New Castle First Church. While an accomplished musician, he is first and foremost a music minister. He lives what he sings and all that he sings is soul-stirring. His son, Chauncey, and daughter-in-law, Maisen, now travel with him, enhancing his ministry in song.

Sunday’s services are 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. and weeknight services are at 7 p.m. A nursery is provided for all services. Pastor Danny Goddard says the church has been praying for revival for a number of weeks and he extends an invitation to everyone to attend. The church is located on the corner of 18th Street and Grand Avenue. For more information, call 529-0607.
