Glen Oaks Health Campus plans brain-fitness series

Glen Oaks Health Campus, a Trilogy Senior Living Community in New Castle, is offering a new wellness series through a collection of engaging, educational, and empowering classes on how to keep your brain fit, titled BrainFIT.

Residents of Glen Oaks Health Campus and community members will be able to participate in classes designed to boost their brain power through more restful sleep, better nutrition, and purposeful exercise. Five classes will be held over the course of five weeks, at no cost to participants.

Glen Oaks Health Campus’s BrainFIT class schedule is 10:30-11:30 a.m. Mondays with the following topics and dates: Education, April 1; Nutrition, April 8; Sleep,  April 15; Exercise, April 22 and Stress, April 29.

The program has been endorsed by Dr. John Arden, PhD and author of “The Brain Bible.”

“The BrainFIT Participant Workbook is an excellent compilation of all the major factors that you need to know to keep your brain healthy,” commented Dr. Arden. “Trilogy Health Services has included quizzes, brain puzzles, helpful lists, and step-by-step guides to make learning about brain health fun at the same time very informative. I recommend it highly!”

To register for classes, please contact Ann Knott, LED, at 529-5796.

Glen Oaks Health Campus is proud to be a member of the New Castle community, and is honored to offer programs that benefit community seniors.
