The New Castle Fierce Martial Arts Team competed at the Annual Hammer Martial Arts AMAA qualifier in Plainfield Indiana the weekend of April 6-7. The Fierce Martial Arts team brought home twelve first through third-place awards among the four competitors.

Jonathan Mukes was the day’s big winner with three first-place trophies, winning all divisions he competed in against tough competition. He placed first in Breaking, Point Style, and Olympic Style Sparring. He landed some crucial head kicks in his final matches to take home the gold.

Izach Butler got first place competing alongside the Black Belt division as a red belt which is not a easy accomplishment at all. Landon Amonett also took home several first-place awards, and the youngest competitor, Rylan Miller, had an amazing showing and brought home a few medals from his divisions.

The next tournament will be held in Greensburg on June 8th and the Fierce Martial Arts Academy will have a large team attending that event.
