A 'hole' lot of work
Adam Arbuckle, Keith Pritchett and Owen Rhea (l-r) converse with Nick Lewis, the man in the hole, as work progressed late Thursday afternoon as a new combination stormwater / sewer pipe is installed under South 15th Street in New Castle. Arbuckle said the old infrastructure may date back to the early 1900s. A portion of 15th Street had collapsed not long ago because of the pipe’s age and dated flagstone / limestone material.
