New Castle–Henry Community Health will be moving its COVID-19 vaccine administration, effective Tuesday, July 6.
HCH will close the vaccine clinic on its main campus and move vaccination administration to Immediate Care at New Castle Family & Internal Medicine Northfield Park. Patients needing a COVID-19 vaccination.
After July 6 you can walk-in or schedule their vaccination by calling Immediate Care at 765-599-3100.
“Since January 11, we have administered more than 11,000 doses of the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines,” said Dr. Arun Tewari, chief medical officer. “As the number of vaccination sites and availability expanded statewide, we saw a drop in demand, which made the need for a stand-alone clinic unnecessary.”
The Pfizer vaccine will be the only vaccine available through our office.
Dr. Tewari was quick to point out that vaccination is still the safest way to keep from getting seriously ill and help prevent the spread of the infection.
“We’re all anxious to get back to our normal lives,” said Dr. Tewari, “and vaccination is the quickest way to ensure that happens quickly.”
