A balance of power shifted in the Henry County Commissioners Wednesday night when Steve Dellinger officially took the seat formerly held by the late Kim Cronk. Where wind energy and solar farms were concerned, it appeared to be a seismic shift.

In his first official meeting as Commissioner, Dellinger supported two resolutions – one extending setback requirements on wind energy conversion systems and another on banning commercial solar energy systems in Henry County. Commissioners President Ed Tarantino supported both of the ordinances, with outgoing Commissioner Ed Yanos voting no on each.
