Christmas Walk at Jane Ross Reeves Octagon House: 400 S. Railroad St., Shirley, at least 20 decorated trees and all rooms decorated, is free to the public. Gov. Eric Holcomb’s safety recommendations will be in place with masks required, temperatures taken and social distancing ahead. Dates and times are weekends of Fridays-Saturdays, Dec. 4-5 and 11-12. Carry-out meals available. First weekend a full chicken and noodles meal, dessert and drink, $12; second weekend vegetable soup or chili, pulled pork or sloppy joe sandwich, dessert and drink for $10.

Madrigal Choir Christmas Concert: 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, live event will also be streamed throughout the New Castle-Henry County Public Library and on the YouTube channel. Noteworthy Concerts are sponsored by Friends of the Library.
