Tempers flared and conversations heated up Tuesday night at Lewisville’s Town Office. It was the third and final public hearing about the proposed creation of a Lewisville-Franklin Township Fire Protection Territory.

The proposal calls for an annual operating budget of $150,000 for the shared volunteer fire department. The new fire territory would collect new property tax dollars from the existing tax base.
