ABOVE RIGHT: ...to this. In the spirit of New Castle floor generals like Steve Alford and Zach Hahn, May has been directing contractors installing new museum surfaces. It’s just part of the exciting game plan for the facility’s future – the largest renovation effort in the 30-plus years it’s been open.

RIGHT: A shiny new hardwood basketball-court like floor will greet visitors when they visit the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame in the near future. The floor was manufactured by the same Cincinnati company that did the court in New Castle Fieldhouse. The museum is still not open to the public as renovations continue. HOF Director Chris May said a grand reopening of the facility would be announced in the not-to-distant future.
