‘Inn’-spired to serve
With his wife holding the Bible, new Lewisville Town Board member John Newhouse takes the oath of office from State Rep. Tom Saunders during a swearing-in ceremony Friday evening at the Houston Brick. The couple owns Newhouse Family Inn in Lewisville. Newhouse takes over a seat vacated by Waylon Thompson, who was recently hired as Lewisville’s maintenance superintendent. More on Thompson’s new role will be featured later this week in The Courier-Times.
