Pendleton Heights came into New Castle Friday night having outscored two previous opponents 72-6. But it took overtime for the Arabians to survive a determined Trojan effort and escape with a 14-13 Hoosier Heritage Conference victory.

A rugged Green and White defense frustrated the visitors all night long. Even though Pendleton had possession of the ball nearly 13 minutes longer than New Castle, the game’s outcome was in doubt until a final overtime pass attempt from junior quarterback William Grieser fell incomplete.
