'Wall-to-wall' work
WALL TO WALL WORK
Renovation work continues at New Castle Middle School. Here Zach Couse of L & W Supply, an Indianapolis firm, awaits delivery of drywall from a crane.
Here, Couse prepares to take the drywall sheets from the crane. The middle school renovation will accommodate students in grades 6-8 when completed.
Couse slides the drywall boards onto a dolly so he can move them inside the school. The drywall will be used to build permanent walls on the second and third floors, replacing the decades-old moveable walls. Final expected price tag for the renovation was recently reported at just over $22 million.
