Jalen Lowder graduated from Tri Junior Senior High School and the New Castle Career Center in May 2019. He is pursuing a degree in graphic design at IUPUI’s Herron School of Art and Design.

During the first year of a two-year course in the Career Center’s Graphic Design program, Lowder’s design was selected by the Henry County Expo Center. Later, he produced a new logo for the New Castle Parks and Recreation Committee. That logo attracted the attention of the New Castle-Henry County Economic Development Corporation, and he was hired as an intern. It was during the EDC internship that he became acquainted with Chamber Director Shaun DuFault, who later connected with Louder to work on the Chamber logo.
