Knightstown’s Mason Young (4) races down the field with the ball ahead of visiting Centerville’s Jake Erbse (9) during last Saturday’s championship game of boys soccer Class A Sectional 42 on Don Willard Field. Young had cone of the Panthers’ four successful penalty kicks against the Bulldogs, and Knightstown plays Southwestern (Shelby) at noon this Saturday in the regional semifinals, also at Don Willard Field.

KNIGHTSTOWN — The Knightstown High School boys soccer team will try to accomplish Saturday what it failed to do in 2019 – win a Class A regional championship.

The Panthers get that opportunity on their home turf (Don Willard Field) at noon Saturday when Knightstown (9-7-1) takes on Southwestern-Shelby (14-1) in the second semifinal game after Bethesda Christian (4-5-2) takes on Indianapolis Lutheran (10-7) in the first semifinal at 10 a.m.
