I predicted correctly 29 of the 48 IHSAA football sectional champions for 60.4 percent accuracy. It fell short of the 32-of-48 (66.7 percent) I was hoping for, but it’s still not terrible.

I now attempt to predict the winners of all 24 IHSAA football regionals around the state. Twenty-two of the games are tonight and the other two are Saturday.

Class 6A: Merrillville over Penn; Westfield over Carroll (Fort Wayne); Brownsburg over Ben Davis; Center Grove over Lawrence North.

Class 5A: Valparaiso over Michigan City; Zionsville over Fort Wayne Dwenger; Indianapolis Cathedral over New Palestine; Bloomington South over New Albany.

Class 4A: Lowell over New Prairie; Mississinewa over Northridge; Indianapolis Roncalli over Mt. Vernon (Fortville); East Central over Evansville Memorial.

Class 3A: Mishawaka Marian over Hanover Central; Brebeuf Jesuit over Norwell; Tri-West over Owen Valley; Gibson Southern over Lawrenceburg.

Class 2A: Andrean over LaVille; Eastside over Eastbrook; Indianapolis Scecina over Lafayette Central Catholic; Evansville Mater Dei over Triton Central.

Class A: North Judson over Carroll (Flora); Adams Central over South Adams; Indianapolis Lutheran over Parke Heritage; Tri over North Central (Farmersburg).
