Bluffton 46, Hagerstown 25

Hagerstown made the long journey to northern Adams County Friday night and lost a battle of Tigers to host Bluffton by 21 points to even their record at 1-1 for the season.

“They (Bluffton) were just faster and more physical than us,” Hagerstown Head Coach Chris Oliger said.

“But it’s good we faced a team like that early in the season because we’ll be facing some TEC teams a lot like them in upcoming games.”

Hagerstown played at Knightstown Saturday night and hosts Tri tonight.

Winchester 87, Knightstown 20

The Panthers faced a state-ranked and experienced team in the visiting Golden Falcons Friday night and came out on the short end of the score to slip to records of 01 in the TEC and 0-2 for the season.

Knightstown hosted Hagerstown Saturday night and travels to Daleville tonight.

Union City 58, New Castle 54

The Trojan girls traveled to the town on the state line Saturday afternoon and fell to the experienced host Indians by four points to slip to a record of 1-4 for the season.

New Castle travels to Delta tonight for a HHC game.

Connersville 42, Shenandoah 26

The Raider girls ventured to Spartan Bowl Saturday night and absorbed their first loss of the season at the hands of the host Spartans to slip to a record of 2-1.

Shenandoah hosts Heritage Christian tonight.
