Shenandoah 84, Pendleton Heights 47The Class 2A No. 2 Raiders made the short trek west on U.S. 36 Friday night and defeated the host Arabians by 37 points to improve to 19-3 for the season.
Shenandoah was ahead 20-13 after one period, 41-26 at halftime, 63-37 after three quarters, and 84-47 at the end of the game.
The Raiders host MEC foe Union (Modoc) Wednesday evening for a varsity-only contest starting at 6:30 p.m.
Randolph Southern 55, Tri 44The Titans traveled to Lynn Saturday night and lost to the host Rebels by 11 points to slip to a record of 4-15 for the season.
Tri hosts Hagerstown tonight.
BSU falls to visiting Akron
Ali Ali led five double-figure scorers for Akron in an 88-79 win to sweep the season series from Ball State (7-11, 5-8 MAC). Ishmael El-Amin scored 20 points to pace BSU, while Brachen Hazen scored a career-high 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting.
