The Trojan Aquatic Club (TAC), formerly the New Castle Swim Club, hosted its Fall Festival Meet Saturday in the pool at New Castle Middle School.

Teams joining the Trojan Athletic Club for the meet were Archway Swim Club, Cardinal Community Swim Club, and Yorktown Swim Club. The coaches for TAC are Jeremy Fewell, Kristin Owens, and Kaylee Oakes, and TAC currently has 62 members and is looking to add more.

Currently, TAC has members that feed into the high school swimming teams at New Castle, Eastern Hancock, and Hagerstown, and also has members from the Shenandoah and South Henry (Tri) school districts.

TAC has four levels beginning with Developmental. As swimmers’ skills progress, they can advance to the Bronze, Silver, and then Gold levels. All levels are eligible to compete at meets.

TAC offers free evaluations for anyone in Henry and the surrounding counties (children ages three and up).

TAC also offers swim lessons throughout the spring, summer and fall. There are no lessons in winter due to the high school swim season. Lessons will be starting again in March.
